Just A Normal Morning With The Pups…

This isn’t really ‘news’, but as I am spending almost all my time with our lovely litter, there isn’t much exciting news. Although puppies are surely very exciting?!

The main summer show season is fast approaching however, so this morning I have been working on Bo’s coat while Fiadh sits in what cannot be a comfortable position at the end of the sofa and the pups play in the kitchen.

The pups do now spend a lot of time in the whole kitchen and are only really confined to the puppy pen at night for safety reasons, although I do still sleep in the kitchen with them and will do until they leave. They have started to go in the garden every day now too, which means awhile new set of smells, sights and sounds for them and today they will have their first time in the car so they can have some treats and start to build positive associations with the car and car journeys.

The time they are here passes so fast! I wish I had more time with them, but I feel happy knowing they all have lovely families to go to who can stay in touch as often as they want to through our litter WhatsApp group.
