Fiadh’s litter have very recently turned six months old and some of her puppies have been coming back to have their first clip, which is absolutely lovely as it helps make sure it’s as positive an experience for them as possible and of course, I get to see them and their families again.

As Bee, one of Fiadh’s daughters has already been staying with us for a few weeks, it’s been lovely that she can meet up with the other pups again as they have been here. (Bee has been staying as I will be handling her in the show ring at times for her owner, Kate at Chanderhill Spanish Water Dogs and it means Bee will be well used to me) It’s also obviously very good for her socialisation to stay here for a while and mix (and play!) with different dogs.

As a breeder, it’s lovely to see how the pups are growing and what they look like clipped and also a privilege to see how they are progressing and it’s really clear how much work the new families are putting into their training and socialisation. Marla, photographed with Bee, was an absolute superstar for her clip and she already has a very strong bond with her family, which is wonderful to see!
